I’m Linda Shuler, the Founder/Owner of Shuler’s Bookkeeping Services, LLC based in Jacksonville, NC.

I was born in a little-known place called Big Stone Gap, Virginia. I came from very humble beginnings and I know the value of hard work, and striving for a better way of life. Not long after coming into this world my family moved to Kentucky where for the next several years my family and I raised pigs and chickens and grew amazing gardens. After growing up there, I eventually found my way back to Virginia 23 years ago. Upon coming to Virginia, I discovered how much I loved working in the medical field, especially once I became a Practice Manager. I grew to love helping my staff become confident and learn ways that could better their lives and especially be able to help my employer physicians keep their hard-earned money. This is where I learned QuickBooks’ and knew this was what I wanted to do.

Over the past 2 decades I also fell in love with NC, especially Emerald Isle. So, I decided NC would be my new home where I can dedicate my life to helping small to medium sized businesses (large as well) grow and flourish and to help business owners to always know that their books are in order, at a glance, and to not worry and stress over the, “what if’s”. As my love of QuickBooks’ grew, I expanded my knowledge base and became certified in Basic, Advanced, and Payroll through Intuit. This knowledge was added to my 22 years of experience in medical management. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a genuine passion for QBs, including tasks like A/P, A/R, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, clean-ups, payroll, and management/financial reporting.
